Our Story
It was 2017, my last year as a FOCUS missionary, and I was at the wedding of one of my best friends. This was the era of shorter than short dresses and it was juxtaposed by a group of men and women striving to follow Jesus with their whole lives. As I looked at these dresses, I thought: "What if there was a place women could shop for for both beautiful AND modest dresses?"
In that moment, the dream for Beloved was born. I started off creating handmade earrings, necklaces and rosaries and launched my first collection on May 1, 2020. That following Spring, I ventured into the clothing world and was determined to find beautiful, modest, and timeless pieces for my Beloved audience.
The Lord has proceeded to grow this shop beyond my wildest expectations and we opened our first storefront in Neligh, NE in May 2025.
I have poured my heart and soul into this shop and the mission of bringing beauty into the world. The small business world can be difficult, and it comes with many lessons. But I am continually humbled at how good the Lord is and how honored I am to bring the faith to life through this boutique.
