A new creation. That’s what spring is all about isn’t it? The dead things of winter, the trees, the grass, the frozen soil, all become new when we get a hint of the tiny green sprouts coming up from the ground; new life. You’ve heard me say it before and I will continue to repeat it, I desire more intentionality in my clothing and especially in the clothes that are part of Beloved. This collection came from my desire to branch out with colors, styles, and bring about a new collection for the Easter season.
Anew means in a different, typically positive way.
There is a lot going on in the world right now. We are inundated with options, information, trends, and it goes on and on. We’re pushed to spend money and order right now otherwise we’ll miss out on the deal, trend, new Stanley cup, etc. I’m here to give you permission to slow down, take a deep breath, look in your closet and invest in the pieces that you’ll wear with multiple things, multiple times, over multiple seasons.
For this collection, I wanted to pull in elements of Princess Diana’s classic chic style with the blazers and style them in a way that makes them accessible- over the Lourdes dress, with a basic tee and jeans, with joggers and a hoodie. These blazers also pair perfectly with the casual white and sky blue tops!
The Lourdes dress (ONE OF MY FAVS) is just the perfect dress to put on, button up and instantly feel beautiful. Paired with some gold earrings, a silver or gold necklace and a pair of mules or some wedges and you’ve got your Easter outfit.
